The green heart of Italy, bordered by Tuscany, Marches and Latium is one of the few Italian regions without the sea. Partly hilly and mountainous and partly flat and fertile thanks to lake and rivers. Beside the Cities full of history and its inhabitant most of all descendants from the Etruscan and Samnite peoples, it is well known for its great slow-tourism tradition. Between outdoor experiences, artistic productions and excellent food, including a remarkable production of olive oil, and wine. It is also renowned as the truffle Country, second only to Alba Town in Piedmont.
